Terms of Use / Participation Agreement

  1. Overview
    These Terms govern access to and participation in the landchange registry, operated by LANDCHANGE LTD (ABN 30 663 454 733).
    By accessing or participating in the registry, users acknowledge and agree to these Terms.

  2. Purpose of the Registry
    The landchange registry is a structured governance system that records participation information between organisations, communities, and development actors.
    The registry records:

  • identity declarations

  • authority confirmations

  • participation acknowledgements

  • governance activity records

  • related documentation
    The registry provides governance infrastructure intended to support transparent engagement between participating entities.

  1. Participation
    Participation in the registry may include communities, organisations, development actors, institutional partners, and other relevant participants.
    Participants are responsible for ensuring that registration information and declarations are accurate and maintained appropriately.

  2. Authority and Representation
    Participants registering in the registry confirm that they are authorised to represent the organisation or community identified in the registration.
    Participants are responsible for the accuracy of declarations submitted to the registry.

  3. Engagement Records
    The registry records participation acknowledgements and engagement information between entities.
    These records serve as governance documentation and participation history.
    The registry itself does not create contractual relationships between participating entities unless separately agreed by those parties.

  4. Use of the Platform
    Participants agree to use the registry in a responsible manner and not to:

  • submit false or misleading information

  • misrepresent organisational authority

  • interfere with registry operation

  • misuse participation records
    LANDCHANGE LTD may restrict or suspend registry access where misuse occurs.

  1. Registry Role
    The landchange registry operates as neutral governance infrastructure that records participation information.
    LANDCHANGE LTD does not guarantee the outcomes of engagements between participants or activities conducted outside the registry system.

  2. Programs and Initiatives
    Programs, services, or initiatives associated with registry participation may be delivered by participating members, partners, or collaborating organisations.
    LANDCHANGE LTD may also undertake activities supporting registry development, outreach, and related initiatives.

  3. Funding and Development
    LANDCHANGE LTD may seek funding, grants, donations, or partnerships to support registry development, platform improvement, outreach activities, and related initiatives.
    LANDCHANGE LTD may also support or coordinate initiatives associated with registry participation.

  4. Platform Operation
    LANDCHANGE LTD may modify, update, or maintain the registry platform as required for operational or technical purposes.

  5. Limitation of Responsibility
    To the extent permitted by law, LANDCHANGE LTD is not responsible for actions, commitments, or outcomes arising from engagements between registry participants.

  6. Termination
    LANDCHANGE LTD may suspend or terminate registry access where misuse of the platform occurs or participation conditions are not met.

  7. Governing Law
    These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia.

  8. Updates
    These Terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of the registry constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
